The Role

As an Assistant Manager, you will:

  • Support the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team across front and back of house
  • Ensure excellent service standards and a seamless guest experience
  • Assist in driving sales, profitability, and cost control
  • Maintain compliance with health & safety, licensing, and food hygiene regulations (including UK food safety qualifications)
  • Monitor stock levels, supplier relationships, and inventory management
  • Handle customer feedback and ensure swift resolutions to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Take charge in the absence of the General Manager, ensuring smooth operations

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Deputy General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or Senior Manager in a high-volume restaurant
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer experiences
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, cost control, and performance analysis
  • Knowledge of UK food hygiene and health & safety regulations
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
